Dear Walkers In the Footsteps of Christ,



About two years ago, the foundation finished production of the film:
In the Footsteps of Christ with filmmaker Mr. Philippe Aractingi.
After several showings of this film in festivals, we have signed an
agreement with the French channel KTO for its promotion.

We are going to ensure this promotion through the whole
country, starting on February 9 at 16h30 at Notre Dame des Anges,
Badaro.



Since then and despite the Covid pandemic, we have been able to:



1- Work with the Municipality and the young people of Ain
Ebel to clear the section of the path of Christ which passes through
this village. This section of the path (7 km) is now available to be
walked. We are currently working to mark this path with historical
references and prayer. We reached out to several sculptors including
the Basbous brothers, Antoine Berberi and Bernard Ghoussoub. The
latter will accompany us to brainstorm how to make this path even more
"holy".



2- The Greek Catholic Archdiocese of Saida has granted us a
large venue to develop a permanent exhibit to showcase the passage of
Christ through South Lebanon. The architect has already started his
design work for the exhibit. The texts and photos to be presented
have been prepared with the collaboration of USEK and the active
participation of our archaeologists and historians.



3- We have finished writing three books:



· Cana de Galilee in both Arabic and French: Historical references and
Cana de Galilée : Archaeological research.

We were able to find a little financial help and the book
in Arabic will be soon printed and published.
We are looking for more financial help for the promotion
and the publishing of the two remaining books.



4- We are preparing a DVD explaining the Footsteps of Christ
with photos and texts.



A new executive committee will be soon submitted to your consent.



Please note that the foundation still has a credit balance of US$
23,000 and 8 Million LL in the bank.
